A 25 years old Young Parliamentarian of Benin, an active member of the International Youth Chamber, and an economist by training, Anita Myriam Emma KOUASSI has always been a big advocate for twelve years. She commits since, to equality in the education of adolescent girls and young women in Sub-Saharan Africa. Young Girl Leader on quinquennial Plan International’s ''Girls Get Equal'' Campaign at Plan International Benin within she acted for gender equality on such boards. She also proved her skills in several areas as an alumnus of the Young Leader of Benin program of the German Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (through the Model African Union held in Ethiopia) and the Regional Leadership Center in West Africa at the American training programs YALI DAKAR.

Towards the ‘’Session Business& Entrepreuneurship’’ for jam-based dates production enterprise, Anita expected to encourage women in cooperatives and afford clean energy cooking access for them. She is currently one of the Young Women Leaders of ‘’The Nerve Center’’ within the Education Plus Initiative, co-led UN agencies, such as UNAIDS, ONUWomen, UNICEF, UNESCO, and UNFPA. She has done as such, an appreciative and influential pleading intervention at the GENERATION EQUA
